SmartCrowd is MENA’s first REIP (Real Estate Investment Platform) and is regulated by the Dubai Financial Services Authority.
What the heck is a REIP?
Essentially, a REIP is a regulated entity that allows people to invest in real estate digitally (i.e., an online platform).
The most awesomest part (yes, we make up words) is that we allow people to invest nominal amounts in real estate from the comfort of their homes (or anywhere in the world with an internet connection). So if you thought you had to be Richie Rich to own a mansion, guess again.
But the key thing that is that we are R.E.G.U.L.A.T.E.D.
We are the first property crowdfunding platform to receive a full license by the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA). Essentially, we need to comply with the most stringent rules and regulations so that we can continue to offer more people the ability to invest in real estate. Think about it… the same folks that regulate banks, regulate us 
.
And then of course there’s our team at SmartCrowd. We are a group of internationally qualified finance, real estate, and client relations professionals who now call the UAE their home. Many of us have left behind comfy corporate jobs in the pursuit of making real estate investing more accessible to the masses.
